The Lilium 'Pink Planet' is an elegant and profusely flowering lily belonging to the group of the Trumpet Lily and the LA Hybrid Lilies (Longiflorum x Asiaticum). This special hybrid combines the strong growth and abundant flowering of Asiatic lilies with the graceful trumpet shape and subtle fragrance of Longiflorum lilies.

'Pink Planet' produces large, upward-facing trumpet-shaped flowers in a vibrant pink color that gradually fades to soft lavender during flowering. This color gradient gives the plant a sophisticated and romantic appearance in borders, pots, and bouquets. The flowers are lightly fragrant and immediately attract attention due to their size and abundant bloom. A mature stem can bear up to 20 flower buds, providing an impressive display of blooms for an extended period.

This lily is highly suitable as a cut flower thanks to its sturdy stems and excellent vase life. The flowers are not pollen-free, so caution is advised when using them indoors or in bridal arrangements.

For optimal growth, plant the bulbs approximately 15 cm deep with a planting distance of 30 to 35 cm. 'Pink Planet' grows best in a sunny location and requires at least 6 to 8 hours of sunlight daily. In well-draining, nutritious soil, this lily develops into a strong and reliable summer bloomer with a luxurious appearance.
