The Lilium Orange Planet is an impressive lily hybrid known for its spectacular bloom and powerful appearance. This special variety belongs to the group of trumpet lilies and LA hybrids, a combination that ensures strong growth, abundant flowering, and elegant flowers with a subtle fragrance. Thanks to its excellent disease resistance and easy care, 'Orange Planet' is loved by both experienced gardeners and novice landscapers.

The plant develops sturdy, tall stems that can reach a height of approximately 160 centimeters. During the flowering period in July and August, each stem forms an impressive inflorescence with as many as 10 to 30 flower buds. The large flowers, which reach a diameter of about 18 centimeters, open in a striking trumpet or turban shape. The petals curve gracefully outwards, making the flowers appear almost dome-shaped when in full bloom.

The color of the flowers is an intense deep orange, giving the plant a warm, exotic appearance. The stamens, anthers, and pistil also display rich orange hues, while the stigma forms a striking burgundy accent. The green center with fine green stripes provides extra depth and contrast. When multiple flowers open simultaneously, a lush display emerges reminiscent of a radiant orange planet — an image from which this cultivar derives its name.
