Nassau is a mid-early bush bean with flat pods about 16 cm long and 1.7 cm wide, with an excellent flavor. Nassau is highly productive and naturally resistant to grease spot, burn spot, and bean mosaic virus. It is a very stable variety with an exceptionally high yield.
The seeds are sown directly outdoors from May to July. Sow in rows: 8–10 cm apart, 40 cm apart, or sow in clumps at 40 x 40 cm spacings with 4–5 seeds. Harvest period: July to October.
Fertilization is usually not necessary. Avoid waterlogging and wet tillage. Later topdressing is recommended.
