French/stringless bean with soft pods.
Faraday is a tender stringless bean with uniform, long, and deep green pods. Harvesting takes place over a longer period, and the pods are very uniform. Faraday grows to about 50 cm tall and is resistant to grease spot, burn spot, and bean mosaic virus.
The seeds are sown directly outdoors from May to July. Sow in rows: 8–10 cm apart, 40 cm between rows, or sow in clumps at 40 x 40 cm spacings with 4–5 seeds. Harvest period: June to September.
Fertilization is usually not necessary. Avoid waterlogging and wet tillage. Later topdressing is recommended.
