Australian Warted is, as the name suggests, a warty gourd of Australian origin.
The teardrop-shaped fruits, about 20 cm high, are light green and slightly deformed.
The ripening period is about 110 days.
Australian Warted grows vigorously.
Australian Warted is not suitable for consumption.
Gourds grow well in warm, well-drained soil.
Pre-sowing and planting from late April gives good results, or direct sowing from early May.
We recommend approximately 2-3 square meters per plant as space requirement.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, mildew, viruses.
