The Iris hollandica Alaska is a beautiful white summer-flowering iris known for its elegant flowers and fresh appearance. This popular Dutch iris blooms in May and June and reaches a height of approximately 60 cm. Thanks to its graceful shape and bright white color, this iris is a real eye-catcher in borders, flowerbeds, and natural gardens.
Furthermore, the flowers of the Iris hollandica Alaska emit a pleasant fragrance and are excellent as cut flowers. This allows you to enjoy this beautiful flower not only outdoors but also indoors in a vase. Thanks to the sturdy stems, the flowers remain beautiful for a long time.
This iris feels most at home in a sunny spot or in partial shade. Plant the bulbs at a depth of approximately 10 cm and maintain a planting distance of 10 cm for the best results. For full bloom, we recommend planting approximately 150 bulbs per m². The bulbs are also very suitable for naturalizing, allowing them to return year after year and spread naturally in the garden.
The packaging contains 100 flower bulbs, ideal for larger borders or group planting. The Iris hollandica Alaska is less suitable for pots and machine planting, but comes into its own perfectly in traditional garden planting.
