Tasty purple carrot from organic cultivation.

Purple carrot with an orange core and a pleasantly sweet flavor. Medium-firm foliage. The purple color is achieved by a high anthocyanin content, which is considered healthy. Orange roots can occasionally form. This organically grown carrot is very suitable for the vegetable garden. Not too early, at 130 days, it should be sown no later than early June.

Sow directly outdoors, sowing depth 0.5 cm. Row spacing: 30–40 cm, 3–4 cm within the row. To protect against carrot root fly, choose open, windy locations or cover with netting. Do not apply fresh fertilizer. Carrots prefer sunny locations and light, well-drained, nutrient-rich soil. Harvest period: 130–140 days after sowing.

Carrots should only be grown in the same spot every six years. They grow well alongside corn, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, and potatoes.
