Marvinna F1 is a highly decorative butternut squash weighing approximately 2-3 kg. The flat, round fruits are well-proportioned and have a long shelf life. The flesh is ideal for cooking.
Maturation time: 115 days.
Marvinna F1 ranks moderately.
Cucurbita moschata requires a lot of warmth and is therefore best grown early. Varieties with a ripening time of up to 110 days also thrive in colder regions.
Optimal germination occurs at 24-30°C. When sowing, place the pointed end of the seed downward or flatten it. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cool location.
For Marvinna F1 we recommend 2 m² per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, mildew, viruses.
