Canterbury Bells is a classic biennial plant, prized for its striking bell-shaped, double flowers and old-world charm.
The plant bears large, drooping, double, bell-shaped flowers. The flowers are usually arranged in dense clusters (rails) along upright stems.
As a biennial, it grows into a rosette of leaves in the first year and flowers in the second. The first year focuses on developing the basal leaves. In the second year, the tall flower stems can be supported if necessary to prevent drooping. Remove wilted flowers to prolong flowering.
