Robust white cabbage with large heads.
A tried and tested late white cabbage with round heads of about 3–4 kg, which very rarely split.
These can be left in the field for extended periods or stored well. Polar can be prepared fresh or processed into delicate sauerkraut.
Sow from April to May using pre-sowing methods; then transplant at a spacing of 50 x 40 cm. Harvest takes place from October to the end of December.
White cabbage is a heavy eater and must be supplied with sufficient nutrients.
