Astrantia major 'Primadonna' – Sea Lavender

Astrantia major 'Primadonna' is a particularly attractive perennial that stands out for its elegant, dark pinkish-red flowers. This profusely flowering cultivar of the well-known Masterwort brings color and sophistication to the garden from early summer well into the summer. The characteristic flowers consist of a compact flower center surrounded by graceful bracts, giving them an almost star-shaped appearance.

Astrantia 'Primadonna' reaches a height of approximately 60 to 70 cm and forms sturdy, upright flower stalks above the fresh green, palmate leaves.
