Ramondia F1 is a new, stable variety with a very early yield.
The two-tone kernels are unique: 75% yellow and 25% white. The cobs are about 22 cm long, fully filled, and can be stored in the refrigerator for several days after harvest. With a height of only about 150 cm and its rapid development, this variety is ideal for gardens and for sowing in installments. Supersweet varieties are particularly tender and sweet. Sweet corn requires a lot of nutrients.
The seeds are usually sown directly outdoors from May onwards, 15–20 cm apart in the row and 60–80 cm between rows. Depending on the sowing date, harvest takes place from July to October.
Care tip for sweetcorn: Sweetcorn harvest can be accelerated by covering the plants with fleece or perforated film. It's important to sow in warm, not too wet soil so the plants germinate and grow well. It's wise to sow in 2–3 instalments to ensure a continuous harvest of ears.
