Lisanco is an organic selection with an early to mid-late harvest start (85–100 days) and a long harvest process.
Ideal for growing in hobby gardens. The cobs have a distinct sweetness and a characteristic flavor. The yield is very good; with proper care and sufficient space, two cobs often form per plant. Lisanco has a good and uniform filling of the kernels. Sweet corn requires a lot of nutrients.
The seeds are usually sown directly outdoors from May onwards, 15–20 cm apart in the row and 60–80 cm between rows. Depending on the sowing date, harvest takes place from July to October.
Care tip for sweetcorn: Sweetcorn harvest can be accelerated by covering the plants with fleece or perforated film. It's important to sow in warm, not too wet soil so the plants germinate and grow well. It's wise to sow in 2–3 instalments to ensure a continuous harvest of ears.
