An evergreen perennial that forms spherical clumps of glossy, deep green, rounded to heart-shaped leaves with sweet-smelling, large deep purple flowers that appear in late winter or early spring.
Grown for their perfume, the violet flowers are exceptionally fragrant. This cultivar is unique because the flowers face upward, making them highly visible. It is also one of the longest-blooming violets with fragrant flowers.
