Beef tomato with good taste and yield, medium early.
Yellowstone is a yellow beefsteak tomato with convincing characteristics, mid-early, with good fruit set and good taste.
The fruits are flattened and round, bright yellow, and distinctly ribbed. They weigh approximately 250–350 g.
Like all large beefsteak tomatoes, Yellowstone grows best in a protected environment. In warm locations and under cover, Yellowstone also thrives outdoors.
Sow at 20–25°C from February to the end of March, sow from February to April, and plant outdoors after the last frost. Harvest from late July to October.
Tomatoes prefer sunny, sheltered locations. The soil should be loose, humus-rich, and nutritious.
Tomato plants require a lot of water. Never water them with cold tap water; the water should be at least room temperature. Always keep the leaves dry to reduce the risk of tomato rot.
