Description

Firm, very popular tomato.

Tigerella is a typical-sized tomato, 5–6 cm in diameter. The red berries are striped, but the stripes disappear when fully ripe. The flavor is excellent, making it suitable for salads or as a snack.

Tigerella is an English hybrid that has been popular for many years because of its resistance to late blight and brown spot disease.

Sow at 20–25°C from February to the end of March, then cultivate from February to April, transplanting after the last frost. Harvesting takes place from late July to September.

Tomatoes prefer sunny, sheltered locations. The soil should be loose, humus-rich, and nutritious.

Tomato plants require a lot of water. Never water them with cold tap water; the water should be at least room temperature. Always keep the leaves dry to reduce the risk of tomato rot.
