Very productive wild tomato.
Sweet Pea forms clusters of small, red, highly aromatic fruits that do not fall off the plant when ripe. Wild tomatoes of the pimpinellifolium variety branch from the base and do not require support. Wild tomatoes are robust and very resistant to brown rot. They can also be grown in a sufficiently large pot.
Sow at 20–25°C from February to the end of March, then cultivate from February to April, transplanting after the last frost. Harvesting takes place from late July to September.
Tomatoes prefer sunny, sheltered locations. The soil should be loose, humus-rich, and nutritious.
Tomato plants require a lot of water. Never water them with cold tap water; the water should be at least room temperature. Always keep the leaves dry to reduce the risk of tomato rot.
