St. Pierre ripens mid-early and the fruits are well-suited for processing. The fruit weighs approximately 170–300 g.
Good neighbors: lettuce, radishes, cabbage; bad combinations: potatoes, fennel, and peas.
Sow flat, prick out or repot once, planting deeper each time.
Sow at 20–25°C from February to the end of March, then cultivate from February to April, transplanting after the last frost. Harvesting takes place from late July to October.
Tomatoes prefer sunny, sheltered locations. The soil should be loose, humus-rich, and nutritious.
Tomato plants require a lot of water. Never water them with cold tap water; the water should be at least room temperature. Always ensure the leaves remain dry to reduce the risk of tomato rot.
