Classic Italian Pelati.
Elongated bottle tomato, very firm for slicing and ideal for pickling. Also suitable for tomato paste and as a salad tomato. Robust and vigorous, semi-determinate variety.
Sow at 20–25°C from February to the end of March, then cultivate from February to April, transplanting after the last frost. Harvesting takes place from late July to September.
Tomatoes prefer sunny, sheltered locations. The soil should be loose, humus-rich, and nutritious.
Tomato plants require a lot of water. Never water them with cold tap water; the water should be at least room temperature. Always ensure the leaves remain dry to reduce the risk of tomato rot.
