Strong, dark red salad tomato.
Rebella is a very reliable new variety from Reinsaat in Austria.
The typical salad tomatoes are dark red with green, flamed shoulders. The fruits, weighing about 100 grams, are very tasty.
The plants are characterized by high yields and good resistance to velvet spot and late blight. Rebella is well-suited for outdoor cultivation but also grows reliably in a greenhouse.
Sow at 20–25°C from February to the end of March, then cultivate from February to April, transplanting into the ground after the last frost. Harvesting takes place from late July to September.
Tomatoes prefer sunny, sheltered locations. The soil should be loose, humus-rich, and nutrient-rich.
Tomato plants require a lot of water. Never water them with cold tap water. The water should be at least room temperature. Always ensure the leaves remain dry to reduce the risk of tomato rot.
