Description

Very aromatic, historic beefsteak tomato.

Historic beefsteak tomato with a long cultivation history.

The large mahogany-purple colored and ribbed fruits weigh about 200 grams and are very aromatic.

With mid-early ripening it can also be grown outdoors in normal locations.

Considered less susceptible to Phytophthora (late blight).

Sow at 20–25°C from February to the end of March, then cultivate from February to April, transplanting into the ground after the last frost. Harvesting takes place from late July to October.

Tomatoes prefer sunny, sheltered locations. The soil should be loose, humus-rich, and nutrient-rich.

Tomato plants require a lot of water. Never water them with cold tap water. The water should be at least room temperature. Always ensure the leaves remain dry to reduce the risk of tomato rot.
