Description

Mountain Merit F1 – Beefsteak tomato with high resistance to Phytophthora (late blight).

Mountain Merit F1 is a beefsteak tomato with high resistance to the dreaded Phytophthora. These red, typical beefsteak tomatoes weigh approximately 200 grams and have a good flavor.

Mountain Merit is also resistant to Fusarium, nematodes and viral diseases.

These characteristics make Mountain Merit F1 ideal for outdoor cultivation.

Sow at 20–25°C from February to the end of March, then cultivate from February to April, transplanting into the ground after the last frost. Harvesting takes place from late July to October.

Tomatoes prefer sunny, sheltered locations. The soil should be loose, humus-rich, and nutrient-rich.

Tomato plants require a lot of water. Never water them with cold tap water. The water should be at least room temperature. Always ensure the leaves remain dry to reduce the risk of tomato rot.
