The famous Mexican honey tomato.
The Mexican honey tomato is a small, red cherry tomato with a legendary reputation and long tradition. The small, spherical fruits weigh 15–20 grams, are sweet and juicy, and have a very good flavor. This variety is a mid-late ripening variety.
The plants are vigorous and quite productive. They thrive in both protected cultivation and in the open ground.
Sow at 20–25°C from February to the end of March, then cultivate from February to April, transplanting into the ground after the last frost. Harvesting takes place from late July to September.
Tomatoes prefer sunny, sheltered locations. The soil should be loose, humus-rich, and nutrient-rich.
Tomato plants require a lot of water. Never water them with cold tap water. The water should be at least room temperature. Always ensure the leaves remain dry to reduce the risk of tomato rot.
