Maskotka is a compact, highly branched red cherry tomato that's ideal for hanging baskets, balcony boxes, and larger pots. The red, cherry-sized fruits are produced in large quantities and are excellent snacks, straight from the plant to the mouth. A very decorative alternative for hanging baskets.
Sow at 20–25°C from February to the end of March, then cultivate from February to April, transplanting into the ground after the last frost. Harvesting takes place from late July to September.
Tomatoes prefer sunny, sheltered locations. The soil should be loose, humus-rich, and nutrient-rich.
Tomato plants require a lot of water. Never water them with cold tap water. The water should be at least room temperature. Always ensure the leaves remain dry to reduce the risk of tomato rot.
