Description

Best taste and widely popular in cultivation.

Harzfeuer is one of the most popular varieties in Central Europe because of its good flavor and long harvest. The fruits are medium-sized, firm, and relatively resistant to cracking.

Harzfeuer thrives both in the open ground and in a greenhouse.

Sow at 20–25°C from February to the end of March, then cultivate from February to April, transplanting into the ground after the last frost. Harvesting takes place from late July to September.

Tomatoes prefer sunny, sheltered locations. The soil should be loose, humus-rich, and nutritious.

Tomato plants require a lot of water. Never water them with cold tap water. The water should be at least room temperature. Always ensure the leaves remain dry to reduce the risk of tomato rot.
