Gourmansun bears very large, yellow, flat-round, red flamed fruits.
The fruits are very fleshy and juicy with an excellent taste.
For this variety we recommend protected cultivation under foil or in a greenhouse.
Plant height approx. 200 cm. Very vigorous and requires support.
Beefsteak tomato with high resistance to the dreaded late blight (Phytophthora). PhR = Phytophthora Resistant.
Sow at 20-25°C from February to the end of March, then cultivate from February to April. Plant outdoors after the last frost. Harvest from late July to September.
Tomatoes prefer sunny, sheltered locations. The soil should be loose, humus-rich, and nutrient-rich.
Tomato plants need plenty of water. Never give them cold tap water. The water should be at least room temperature. Always keep the leaves dry to reduce the risk of tomato rot.
