Date or plum tomato.
Excellent date tomato with deep red, crack-resistant, and firm-fleshed fruits. The fruits have a strong, sweet, and fresh tomato aroma and an excellent flavor, typical of tomatoes. The fruit keeps very well.
Sow at 20-25°C from February to the end of March, then cultivate from February to April. Plant outdoors after the last frost. Harvest from late July to September.
Tomatoes prefer sunny, sheltered locations. The soil should be loose, humus-rich, and nutrient-rich.
Tomato plants need plenty of water. Never give them cold tap water. The water should be at least room temperature. Always keep the leaves dry to reduce the risk of tomato rot.
