High-yielding, large salad tomato.
Dafne F1 is a large tomato that shows good results in both protected cultivation and in the open ground.
The red fruits are quite heavy, 120 – 140 g, and are suitable for salads.
The fruits are highly resistant to cracking. Dafne F1 is resistant to nematodes and Fusarium.
We recommend Dafne F1 as a replacement for the Vanessa F1, which is no longer available.
Sow at 20-25°C from February to the end of March, then sow from February to April, planting outdoors after the last frost. Harvest takes place from late July to September.
Tomatoes prefer a sunny, sheltered location. The soil should be loose, humus-rich, and nutrient-rich.
Tomato plants require a lot of water. Never water them with cold tap water. The water should be at least room temperature. Always ensure the leaves remain dry to reduce the risk of tomato rot.
