Attractive, very large beefsteak tomato.
With its enormous fruits, which can weigh up to 1 kg under good conditions, Brutus is a real eye-catcher.
The fruits are flat-round, dark red with delicate stripes and clearly ribbed.
Like all large beefsteak tomatoes, Brutus thrives in protected cultivation. In warm locations with a roof, Brutus also grows well outdoors.
Sow at 20-25°C from February to the end of March, then sow from February to April, planting outdoors after the last frost. Harvest takes place from late July to September.
Tomatoes prefer a sunny, sheltered location. The soil should be loose, humus-rich, and nutrient-rich.
Tomato plants require a lot of water. Never water them with cold tap water. The water should be at least room temperature. Always ensure the leaves remain dry to reduce the risk of tomato rot.
