Black Plum produces dark red (black-red), striped plum-shaped fruits.

The fruits are fleshy, tasty and good for salads, and when fully ripe also suitable for soups and sauces.

Sow at 20-25°C from February to the end of March, then sow from February to April, planting outdoors after the last frost. Harvest takes place from late July to September.

Tomatoes prefer a sunny, sheltered location. The soil should be loose, humus-rich, and nutrient-rich.

Tomato plants require a lot of water. Never water them with cold tap water. The water should be at least room temperature. Always ensure the leaves remain dry to reduce the risk of tomato rot.
