Black Krim is a sweet, aromatic land variety named after the Crimean Peninsula. This traditional variety has been cultivated there for decades.
The fruits are slightly flattened, about 10-12 cm in size, dark red and have green-black shoulders.
Black Krim thrives best in protected cultivation or in a greenhouse.
Sow at 20-25°C from February to the end of March, then sow from February to April, planting outdoors after the last frost. Harvest takes place from late July to September.
Tomatoes prefer a sunny, sheltered location. The soil should be loose, humus-rich, and nutrient-rich.
Tomato plants require a lot of water. Never water them with cold tap water. The water should be at least room temperature. Always ensure the leaves remain dry to reduce the risk of tomato rot.
