High-yielding greenhouse tomato.
Ateron F1 has been specially bred for the demands of sheltered cultivation and grows reliably in warm places, but also outdoors.
The red fruits, weighing about 110–120 g, are ideal for salads. Ateron F1 fruits grow in clusters of up to eight.
Ateron F1 is resistant to velvet spot and fusarium.
Sow at 20–25°C from February to the end of March, then sow from February to April, planting outdoors after the last frost. Harvest takes place from late July to September.
Tomatoes prefer sunny, sheltered locations. The soil should be loose, humus-rich, and nutrient-rich.
Tomato plants require a lot of water. Never water them with cold tap water; the water should be at least room temperature. Always ensure the leaves remain dry to reduce the risk of tomato rot.
