Famous pepper-like vine tomato.
The tomato originates from South America and produces pepper-like, firm-fleshed tomatoes with few seeds.
The fruits are very tasty and easy to cut.
Andenhorn sel. Anca is selected for its quality and uniformity, with slender, pepper-like, and very tasty fruits.
Sel. Anca is a revised line with high uniformity and fruit quality.
Due to its medium-early to late ripening period, the Andenhorn prefers a sunny and warm location.
Protected cultivation in a greenhouse or under a canopy is recommended.
Sow at 20–25°C from February to the end of March, then sow from February to April, planting outdoors after the last frost. Harvest takes place from late July to September.
Tomatoes prefer sunny, sheltered locations. The soil should be loose, humus-rich, and nutrient-rich.
Tomato plants require a lot of water. Never water them with cold tap water; the water should be at least room temperature. Always ensure the leaves remain dry to reduce the risk of tomato rot.
