Uniform, large radish for all seasons.
Kvarta is a brightly colored, giant, butter-type radish with a diameter of about 3 cm, which has proven itself in year-round cultivation. It grows very quickly and is perfect for successive sowing every two weeks for a continuous and regular harvest. Kvarta always remains tender and, with sufficient water, never becomes fibrous.
Sowing takes place outdoors and in greenhouses from late February to early September. Sow directly in rows, 20 cm apart, 3 cm thinly spaced within the row. Harvesting takes place from late April to October.
If you sow seeds every 3 weeks you will always have fresh radishes.
Radishes should always be well watered, not harvested when overripe, and never allowed to dry out, as this will lead to pungency and woodiness.
