For optimal performance of Ranunculus asiaticus Cloni Success® Grand Pastel, there are some important cultivation and care guidelines:
Planting time:
September to November for early spring flowering.
February to April for summer flowering.
Plant density: ± 64–100 plants per m², depending on growing conditions.
Soil temperature: 5–10 °C during the initial stage; keep the soil temperature below 15 °C during root development.
Ambient temperature: Avoid temperatures above 20°C once the plants begin to emerge.
Frost hardiness: Can tolerate light frost down to -5 °C, but protect from severe frost.
Preparing the bulbs: Soak the bulbs in lukewarm water for 3–5 hours before planting.
Maintenance: Removing spent flowers encourages continued blooming and longer productivity.
