Tomatillos are unfussy, easy-to-grow plants that thrive in almost any soil.
Harvest them when they're not fully ripe; they add a fresh and savory flavor to chutneys and salsas. Fully ripe fruits are sweet.
Sow from February onwards using pre-sowing. Cultivation is similar to tomatoes, but the plant prefers partial shade.
The harvest takes place from around the end of July/beginning of August.
This variety grows to a height of about 70cm.
