Strong-tasting root vegetables.
The roots, harvested in autumn, add the characteristic parsley flavor to mixed vegetables and soups. The roots can be easily frozen and used fresh for extended periods. The leaves can be used fresh, just like regular parsley.
Sow directly outdoors from late February to April. Sow 25 x 10 cm apart. Harvest time: October to November.
Parsley root does not like freshly fertilized soil.
