This series offers the solution to a challenge faced by breeders, young plant growers, and Matthiola growers. Selecting double-flowered plants at the seedling stage is one of the main goals of our breeding program.

We have succeeded in developing a robust series of Matthiolas with woodier stems that can be easily selected for double flowers after a cold treatment, resulting in an excellent series with 100% double flowers.
