The Iris hollandica Discovery is a stunning Dutch iris with striking violet-blue flowers that give every garden a stylish and colorful appearance. This elegant bulb blooms in May and June and reaches a height of approximately 60 cm. Thanks to its graceful flower shape and intense color, this iris is a popular choice for borders, group plantings, and cut flower gardens.
The sturdy flower stems make the Iris hollandica Discovery particularly suitable as a cut flower. The flowers remain beautiful for a long time in a bouquet and provide a fresh and luxurious look indoors. Although this iris is not fragrant, it more than compensates for this with its rich color and exuberant bloom.
This Dutch iris grows best in a location in full sun or partial shade. For optimal results, plant the bulbs at a depth of approximately 10 cm with a spacing of 10 cm between them. For abundant bloom, we recommend approximately 150 bulbs per m². The bulbs are excellent for naturalizing, allowing you to enjoy a natural and rich bloom in your garden for years to come.
