The uniform Helianthus Solano® Deep Orange produces very large, pollen-free flowers with a strong, intense orange colour and a deep black heart.

The well-formed flowers have 2 to 3 layers of pointed petals.

Solano® Deep Orange is less sensitive to day length fluctuations and is therefore easier to plan. A beautiful variety within the Solano® collection.

Helianthus Solano® is a collection of cut sunflowers from Evanthia, with an incredible flowering power and robust, unbranched stems.

By sowing outdoors from early spring to mid-summer and the short growing time of 8 to 11 weeks, you can harvest these sun-worshippers from early summer until late autumn.

Thanks to the long stems of 100 to 180 cm and the small top leaves, Solano® is easy to harvest and process.

Because the flowers of Helianthus Solano® are pollen-free, the flower hearts and petals remain clean, resulting in a longer shelf life.
