Large silvery white clouds of small flowers on erect stems.
Most often seen as a dried flower, the prickly heads of tiny white flowers are popular for using in wreaths and other arrangements, both fresh and dried.
Plants produce a low rosette of leathery green leaves, bearing branching heads of flowers in mid to late summer.
Disease tolerant, uniform strain.
Plant in sandy, well-drained soil in full sun. Does not like wet during flowering. Drought tolerant once established.
Height: 50-60 cm (20-24″).
Supplied as cleaned (normal) seed for easier sowing.
