Gladiolus Priscilla® – an elegant tricolored gladiolus

Gladiolus Priscilla® is a beautiful large-flowered gladiolus that stands out for its distinctive tricolored flowers. The gracefully wavy petals have a white to cream-white base color, a striking pink edge, and a soft yellow center. This combination gives the flowers a fresh, romantic appearance and makes Priscilla® a true eye-catcher in the summer garden.

The sturdy, upright flower stalks reach a height of approximately 100 cm and bear numerous large flowers that open gradually from bottom to top. Gladiolus Priscilla® blooms primarily in July and August. Due to its stately growth, this gladiolus is ideal for the center or background of borders. This profusely flowering variety should certainly not be missing from a cutting garden either.

Plant the bulbs in the spring, from April to June, in a warm and sunny spot. Gladioli grow best in fertile, well-drained soil. Plant the bulbs about 7 to 10 cm deep and space them approximately 10 to 12 cm apart. By planting at different times, you can spread the flowering period and enjoy blooming gladioli for longer.

Thanks to its soft colors, Priscilla® is easy to combine. Together with white, pink, and purple summer flowers, it creates a romantic ensemble, while dark purple or red flowers provide a strong contrast. This gladiolus also looks stunning next to dahlias and tall perennials.

Gladiolus Priscilla® is also an excellent cut flower. The long stems and striking flowers are perfect for summer bouquets. Cut the stems as soon as the bottom flower begins to open for a long-lasting result in the vase.
