Tried and tested fennel for spring to autumn.
Fino is a bolt-resistant fennel, suitable for spring and summer cultivation. The firm, white tubers are elongated and very popular as a delicacy.
Sowing: Sow directly in open ground from late April to early July. Sow from February and transplant in protected cultivation at the end of March. Planting/sowing distance: 30 cm between rows, 20 cm within the row, or thin to this distance later. Depending on the sowing date, harvest takes place from June to October.
