Sow directly outdoors, sowing depth 0.5 cm. Row spacing: 30–40 cm, 4–5 cm within the row. Carrots prefer sunny locations and light, well-drained, nutrient-rich soil. Carrots can be harvested approximately 12–14 weeks after sowing.
Carrots should only be grown in the same spot every six years. They grow well alongside corn, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, and potatoes.
