Flyaway F1 is naturally tolerant to carrot fly maggots.
This variety matures mid-early and produces sugary-sweet carrots 15–18 cm long that are rich in carotene.
Sow directly outdoors, sowing depth 0.5 cm. Row spacing: 30–40 cm, 4–5 cm within the row. Carrots prefer sunny locations and light, well-drained, nutrient-rich soil. Harvest period: from late June to September.
Carrots should only be grown in the same spot every six years. They grow well alongside corn, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, and potatoes.
