A tasty variety with a very good yield. Healthy, strong growth.
For fresh consumption, juice, or freezing. Caravelle F1 doesn't keep particularly well and is only recommended for a few weeks.
Sow directly outdoors, sowing depth 0.5 cm. Row spacing: 30–40 cm, 4–5 cm within the row. To protect against carrot fly, choose open, windy locations or cover with netting. Do not apply fresh fertilizer. Carrots prefer sunny locations and light, well-drained, nutrient-rich soil. They can be harvested quite early, 100 days after sowing.
Carrots should only be grown in the same spot every six years. They grow well alongside corn, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, and potatoes.
