Originally an English variety.
This variety was introduced in the US in 1824 and has since become popular worldwide. The plants regularly produce very light green, almost white fruits with a good zucchini flavor.
This variety thrives in warm, well-drained soil, ideally sown and planted out from late April or sown directly from early May. It matures in approximately 50 days. This variety is non-climbing and grows as a bush. Courgettes should be harvested very young, ideally at or shortly after flowering. This variety can be harvested continuously.
For courgettes we recommend 1 m² per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, mildew, viruses.
