Medium sized cutting pumpkin in a class of its own.
Zeus F1 bears round fruits of approx. 7–9 kg, bright orange in colour and nicely ribbed, round to slightly rounded.
The overall, extremely harmonious appearance is complemented by the beautiful dark green stem. Zeus F1 is resistant to powdery mildew (PMT) and Zucchini yellow mosaic virus (ZYMV), vigorous with short tendrils, and bears an average of approximately two fruits per plant.
Halloween pumpkin with high decorative value, less suitable for consumption.
Maturation time: 110 days.
Zeus F1 grows with short tendrils.
C. pepo grows well in warm, well-drained soils. Sow from late April or direct sow from early May.
Optimal germination occurs at 24–30°C. When sowing, hold the pointed end of the seed downward or lay it flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cooler location.
For Zeus F1 we recommend 1–2 square meters per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, mildew, viruses.
