Very nice round variety with quite good yields.
Youngs Beauty fruits weigh about 4–6 kg, are round, lightly ribbed, and bright dark orange. The skin is very firm, making the fruit robust and durable.
Very good pumpkin for carving, painting and decorating.

C. pepo grows well in warm, well-drained soils. Sow from late April or direct sow from early May.
Optimal germination occurs at 24–30°C. When sowing, hold the pointed end of the seed downward or lay it flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cooler location.
For Youngs Beauty we recommend 2–3 square meters per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, mildew, viruses.
