This mixture of white and cream-colored Crooknecks is the result of crossbreeding and selective breeding of a sport of the Yellow Crookneck. The fruits are twisted, curved, and abundantly formed on the bushy plants.
This variety is only suitable for consumption to a limited extent.
Maturation time: approximately 80 days to full ripeness.
The plants grow compact in bush form.
C. pepo grows well in warm, well-drained soils. Sow early and plant out from late April or sow directly from early May.
Optimal germination occurs at 24–30°C. When sowing, place the pointed end of the seed downward or lay it flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cooler location.
We recommend approximately 1–2 square meters per plant as space requirements.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, mildew, viruses.
